An exam you can't access is an exam you failed unfairly
ELAREH assesses careers. If the interface itself is a barrier, the measurement is invalid — so accessibility is a correctness requirement here, not a compliance checkbox.
The floor
Six commitments, platform-wide
Contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for text, visible focus everywhere, 24 px minimum targets, semantic structure on every page.
Everything reachable without a mouse — including the exam question navigator, builders and payment flows.
Labelled controls, live announcements for timers, autosave and payment status, tested question formats.
System preference honoured platform-wide; exam mode runs reduced motion for everyone by default.
Layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling; data tables and code panels scroll inside their own containers.
Both themes designed intentionally with equal contrast care — including the examination room.
Examination accommodations
Adjustments are part of the exam, not a favour
For ELAREH's own timed hiring assessments, accommodations are self-selected in your settings before you begin — no negotiating at the door, no waiting on a reviewer. For a high-stakes external exam registration (for example, IELTS), the same accommodations exist but require authorization by our team, consistent with that exam's operational policy.

Known limitations
Where we're not done
Captions for interview playback are Roadmap, alongside audio/video interviews generally. A recent pass fixed real gaps across both the main site and the assessment delivery interface: keyboard focus order through the navigation menus, screen-reader announcement of sign-in and registration form errors, secondary-text colour contrast platform-wide, labelled answer inputs and a live-announcing question navigator (current/flagged/answered state), a labelled code editor with a live region for test-run results, labelled system-check status in the pre-exam check, and screen-reader data tables behind the Employer Analytics trend and spend charts (the product's only real data visualisations — everywhere else "chart" is a plain icon or word, not a chart). We publish gaps rather than hiding them.
