German B1 — Goethe-Zertifikat B1 Preparation
Goethe-Zertifikat B1 is one of the most consequential German thresholds — it is the level most often required for German citizenship, and for many settlement and work pathways. This ten-week course takes that seriously: it is built around real work, study and civic contexts, not just abstract exam technique. The listening and speaking module moves into subordinate clauses and connected argument, the register B1 conversation actually requires. The reading and writing module works with the kind of texts the exam and real German bureaucracy both use — official notices, workplace communication, structured opinions. A dedicated grammar module covers the subordinate-clause structures (weil, dass, wenn and their word-order rules) that most learners find hardest at this level. The course closes with a full walkthrough of the real Goethe B1 exam format and a complete timed practice test, reviewed item by item against the actual scoring criteria.
