German for Nurses — B1 to B2
Foreign-trained nurses seeking recognition (Anerkennung) of their qualification in Germany face a specific, demanding language requirement that goes well beyond general B1–B2 German — they need clinical vocabulary, precise patient-communication register, and confident documentation writing. This ten-week course is built specifically for that need, not as a generic German course with medical vocabulary added on top. It covers core clinical vocabulary for describing symptoms and conditions, structured practice conducting a patient intake conversation (Anamnese), explaining a procedure and obtaining informed consent, and handling anxious patients and families with appropriate register. A dedicated module covers interprofessional communication with doctors and colleagues, and writing clear clinical documentation. The course closes with a full simulated intake conversation, reviewed for both language accuracy and clinical appropriateness — the same combination the real recognition process actually assesses.
