English Foundation: A2 to B1
A2 to B1 is where English starts to become genuinely useful for independent life — the point where a learner can hold a real conversation, express an opinion, and follow the general shape of a discussion even without understanding every word. This eight-week course is built specifically for that transition. The listening and speaking module moves from single exchanges to connected conversation; the reading and writing module introduces longer, more varied texts and paragraph-level writing; and a dedicated grammar module covers the structures that unlock B1 — narrative past tenses, simple future forms, and the connectors that hold an argument together. Vocabulary throughout is chosen for workplace and social use, not academic use, since most learners at this stage need English for daily life and simple professional contexts rather than formal study. The course closes with a cumulative review and an honest self-check against real B1 descriptors.
