French: A2 to B1
A2 to B1 is where French starts to become genuinely usable for independent life — holding a real conversation, expressing an opinion, and following the shape of a discussion without needing every word explained. This eight-week course is built specifically for that transition. The listening and speaking module moves from single exchanges to connected conversation; the reading and writing module introduces longer texts and paragraph-level writing; and a dedicated grammar module covers imparfait and futur proche, the structures that unlock talking about the past and future with real fluency. Vocabulary throughout is chosen for everyday and workplace use. This level is directly relevant to Canadian immigration pathways that reference French proficiency (CLB-equivalent scoring through TEF Canada or TCF Canada), and this course is a strong foundation before that exam-specific preparation.
